Free Counseling for Small Businesses!

The Chelan Douglas Regional Port has funded a second certified small business counselor position. Knowing that small businesses make up the backbone of our economy, the Regional Port wanted to make sure struggling businesses have access to free counseling.

That new position has been filled by John Morosco, a Certified Business Advisor with over 30 years of small business experience, which includes business ownership. Much of his career has been spent working to maximize the customer experience while still making a profit to sustain the business. Before joining the Washington SBDC, John was a business advisor in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He has extensive experience managing restaurants, hotels, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. He also owned a restaurant and started his own janitorial services company, which he later sold.

Any business who needs assistance, one-on-one business counseling or those who simply want to talk with someone about better efficiencies regarding food costs, labor costs, margins, etc., can reach John at 509-992-4027 or by e-mail.

All counseling is confidential.
