That’s a Wrap, Christmastown

December of 2021 marked the first of the Chamber’s “Christmastown” concept of programming and festivities located all month long at the Festhalle.

Mid-week shopping promotions, choirs, bands, Santa and Mrs Claus; a lot goes into the month! Therefore, we put together a numeric recap on the promotions, events, and visitor statistics.

  • 119 - Total number of Christmastown Ambassadors

  • 16,602 - Number of people who visited the Festhalle in December (wow)

  • $18,000 - Amount of money earned by our non-profit partners

  • 20,336 - Hotel referrals from our Simpleview availability tool in December

  • 83,000 - Engagements with the Advent calendar

  • 84,485 - Christmastown web page views on Leavenworth.org

  • 125,000 - Advent Calendar e-mails sent to Consumers

  • 185,265 - Webcam web page views on Leavenworth.org

  • 1.8 million - Pedestrian footfalls* for the month of December (2nd highest month was July with 1.4 million)

  • 3.4 million - Number of views for all videos & webcams on our YouTube page in December.
