Phase 3 on 3/22 - 50% Capacity.
On March 11, Gov. Jay Inslee announced that all counties are moving to Phase 3 effective Monday, March 22 in the Healthy Washington recovery plan.
In Leavenworth, this will have have the greatest impact for restaurants, retailers, fitness centers and indoor facilities which will be able to operate at 50% of their capacity. All other safety measures are to remain in place (masks, distancing, etc).
Additionally, the governor announced that starting Wednesday, March 17, everyone in Tier 2 will be eligible for their COVID vaccine. This includes workers in agriculture, food processing, grocery stores, public transit, firefighters and law enforcement, among others. Tier 2 also includes people over the age of 16 who are pregnant or have a disability that puts them at high-risk.
Additionally, it was announced that Healthy Washington: Roadmap to Recovery will be transitioning from a regional approach back to a county-by-county evaluation process.
